Information you provide us directly:
We ask for certain information such as your username, first and last name, birthdate, phone number and e-mail address when you register for a GAMEBOKS account or seek to purchase a product from us, or if you correspond with us. We may also retain any messages you send through the Service, and may collect information you provide in content you post to the Service or during or correspondence with us.
We use this information to operate, maintain, and provide to you the features and functionality of the Service, as well as to communicate directly with you, such as to send you email messages and push notifications, or provide you our products or your purchases. We may also send you Service-related emails or messages (e.g., account verification, order confirmations, change or updates to features of the Service, technical and security notices). GAMEBOKS uses personal data in connection with marketing including targeted marketing in order for us to communicate with you. The targeted marketing and communication include newsletters and promotion of current and future campaigns including promotion of new products. GAMEBOKS only process ordinary personal data including name, job-position, address, email, telephone, etc.
The personal data which GAMEBOKS processes comes from you e.g. personal data from your email signature or personal data obtained from publicly available sources e.g. form Social Media. The personal data can also be obtained through the use of the GAMEBOKS website.
The legal basis for processing personal data is GDPR Article 6.1.f. The legitimate interests GAMEBOKS pursues are marketing interests.
If you have subscribed to the GAMEBOKS Newsletter, we will keep your personal data as long as you receive the Newsletter from us and we will delete your personal data within 12 months after you unsubscribe from the Newsletter.
GAMEBOKS treats and processes your personal data confidentially and does not generally pass on the data to third parties. However, personal data may be transferred to third parties i.e. data processors which GAMEBOKS uses in connection with its normal business processes.
We automatically collect certain types of usage information when you visit our website or use our Service. Remember, our Services allow you to connect with others and share information about yourself with other individuals. By using the Service, you consent to have your profile information and your location displayed to other members of the Service. When other members of the Service attempt to “Find Friends” on the Service using their contact list or address book, we will identify you as an existing member of the Service if your phone number is in your friend’s address book. Similarly, we will let you know which of your contacts in your address book are already members of the Service based on the phone number associated with the member’s account;
- Other parties in connection with any company transaction, such as a merger, sale of company assets or shares, reorganization, financing, change of control or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by another company or third party or in the event of bankruptcy or related or similar proceedings; and
Please note that an advertiser may ask GAMEBOKS to show an ad to a certain audience of Users (e.g., based on demographics or other interests). In that situation, GAMEBOKS determines the target audience and GAMEBOKS serves the advertising to that audience and only provides anonymous aggregated data to the advertiser. If you respond to such an ad, the advertiser or ad server may conclude that you fit the description of the audience they are trying to reach.

Keeping your information safe
GAMEBOKS cares about the security of your information, and uses commercially reasonable safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of all information collected through the Service. To protect your privacy and security, we take reasonable steps (such as requesting a unique password) to verify your identity before granting you access to your account. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your unique password and account information, and for controlling access to your email communications from GAMEBOKS, at all times. However, GAMEBOKS cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to GAMEBOKS or guarantee that information on the Service may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed. Compromise of information:
In the event that any information under our control is compromised as a result of a breach of security, GAMEBOKS will take reasonable steps to investigate the situation and where appropriate, notify those individuals whose information may have been compromised and take other steps, in accordance with any applicable laws and regulations.

You can also stop receiving promotional email communications from us by clicking on the “unsubscribe link” provided in such communications. We make every effort to promptly process all unsubscribe requests. How long we keep your User Content
Following termination or deactivation of your User account, GAMEBOKS may retain your profile information and User Content for a commercially reasonable time for backup, archival, or audit purposes.
